We created a character known as the "Betel Nut" to guide you in using the website. The term "Nut" is appropriate because it captures our passion and enthusiasm for travel and Singapore.

Our adaptive logos
Below is the series of logos we have used on our website since we welcomed our first guests on 3 Dec 2003. In the same spirit as Google, we adapt our logos to festivals and events happening in Singapore.

Christmas 2003. Sprucing up our website with dancing snow flakes aside, we decided that the logo needed a lift with a jaunty santa hat. Its our first attempt at graffiti'ing our own logo... abit conservative. |

Lunar New Year 2004. Its the year of the monkey and our little primate is holding up a Ang Bao (red packet) as a gift of well wishes to our visitors. |

National Day 2004. This is Singapore's 39th birthday. This National Day is significant as it saw a change in Prime Ministers. |

WOMAD or World Of Music Arts And Dance was back in Singapore on Fort Canning Hill this weekend 27- 29 Aug 2004. Its a festival and celebration of the arts across 3 days. |

Muslims honour the holy month of Ramadan by fasting. A traditional greeting to a Muslim during this period can be "Ramadan Mubarak" which means "May God grant you a blessed month". |
