I really enjoyed my time there, the bike tour was great as well as riding in the back of Tony's yellow truck. Sadly, I can't even remember anyone's name there off the top of my head. Love the near by beach and all the ships and the wind surfing guys. Oh, and the laksa (spelling?) soup was really good, so rich. Reminds me of bisques. Maybe some day I'll make it back. I was with my wife and 12 year old daughter who also enjoyed the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. We toured around Singapore for a week and it was great to come back to the hostel and spend time in the common room until late. Singapore isn't as cheap as it used to be and Betel Box is reasonably priced. I met very interesting ppl there. the staff was cool, mostly young kids. i met a swedish girl, i would regret not taking her contact information.
